Slowly breathe in through your nose and out through your mouth for at least ten breaths. We made it through another beginning of the fall semester. For most of us, the start of any school year is always hectic and crazy. The good thing is the craziness does not last too long and most issues are resolved in a few weeks (ok...Well, most issues).

Through all the hectic days, your Tri-State committees have been hard at work preparing a number of activities and trainings. Neophyte training will begin on October 9, 2011 and run through October 14, 2011 in Rehoboth Beach. If you have any new staff or someone who needs a refresher, PD&T Committee's Neophyte training is a great event. Participants not only receive information on financial aid regulations, the committee promotes team building and lasting relationships. Keep watching your emails for registration and the agenda.

The Fall Conference will be held in Dover, Delaware November 7th through November 9th. Our Vice Chair Heather Owens and her dedicated committee are working on making this fall conference another great learning and fun experience. Again, watch your email.

Speaking of emails please let me or our Electronic Services and Technology chair Barbara Miller know if you are not getting any of the email correspondences. We want to make sure everyone is informed about training and events.

I really just want to reiterate how honored I am to be Chair of this great organization. If you have any ideas that will benefit you or your organization, please let me know. I hope to see you at future events.
