FRC Committee Happenings:
On October 19, 2011, the Tristate and EASFAA Federal Relations Committees, along with the participation of SASFAA, will be holding a Legislative Briefing in Washington, D.C. This event will bring together the Legislative Aides of key congressional members and a panel comprised of respected members of our respective associations to educate our legislators on key issues facing our industry. We are very excited to be holding this event on the 2nd annual "Financial Aid Professionals Day", as proclaimed by EASFAA.

Regulatory Reminder:
Don't forget that the first submissions for the Gainful Employment Reporting requirements are due November 15, 2011. This submission is for the 2006-07 through 2010-2011 academic years. Schools can expect to begin submitting data (per DOE) on September 26, 2011. Note: this reporting requirement is in addition to the Disclosures that should have been posted to a school's website for required programs on July 1, 2011.
