Happy winter! I hope everyone had a peaceful holiday and is rested and relaxed for the new year. I enjoyed seeing many of you at the fall training conference, “Riding the Waves of Change,” at the Hyatt in Cambridge, Maryland. Over one hundred and eighty people attended.

We enjoyed many informative sessions and great networking opportunities, including Greg Martin and Scott Miller for our federal update, the motivating and inspirational Liza Bruce during our opening evening, and Dr. Earl Richardson, President of Morgan State University, who spoke about trends facing colleges and universities today. 2008 is off to a great start with many events underway. Thank you to everyone who coordinates and participates in these events. You make this Association a success! Best wishes to a great start to 2008!
