Greetings from the MD Association of Financial Aid Administrators:

The Fall Festival Networking Event was held on November 3 from 5-9 pm at Bowl America in Glen Burnie. 18 participants from various schools, vendors, and MHEC were present. A great time was had by all!

High scorers for the evening were Jerry McKeen from MHEC and Karen Price from Edamerica.

The High School Guidance Counselor Workshops were held on December 6 and 8 at various locations throughout Maryland. Thank you to the following schools for being host sites: Allegany College of Maryland, Bowie State University, Community College of Baltimore County-Essex, Harford Community College, Montgomery College- Germantown, Wor-Wic Community College. We will also be hosting a webinar webcast on December 14 for those counselors who are unable to attend a site location.

You Can Afford College was held on January 13, 2007. This event was once again hosted at Maryland Public Television (MPT) in Owings Mills, MD.
