Hello, TriState. Spring is here and summer is soon to come. Although the winter may have been mild, Mother Nature didn’t want us to get too comfortable. Much of the TriState region was covered by snow on College Goal Sunday. However, the hard work of Cissy VanSickle, her committee and the volunteers at all the sites did not go unrewarded. Many of the sites were able to hold the event at alternate times and were able to help a large number of students. (See the article and pictures under Committee Highlights.)

The snow quickly melted and before we knew, another season had passed. As usual, the Association kicked off spring with a bang. The 2006 Spring Conference was held on April 6th at Sheppard Pratt Conference Center. Professional Development & Training (PD&T) did a terrific job planning this event. Be sure to check out the pictures from the conference!

The 2006-2007 officers were announced at the Spring Business Meeting. As Rich said, all the candidates who ran deserve a special round of applause. You can find the listing of the new officers in Spotlight Features.
