Minutes/Report: DATE: January 1, 2007 - 2007-2008 Goals and Objectives LOCATION: ATTENDEES: GUEST(S): MINUTES STATUS: AWARDS AND SCHOLARSHIPS 2007-2008 COMMITTEE GOALS AND OBJECTIVES June 6, 2007 1. Recruit new membership for the committee from the DE-DC-MD ASFAA membership, with an overall goal to have a committee of 12 members. 2. Recruit a vice-chair for this committee. 3. Recruit a secretary for this committee. 4. Update the Awards and Scholarships section of the DE-DC-MD website. 5. Continue to refine the Scholarship Application. 6. Update the awards application, to include the purpose and history of each award. 7. Create a procedure for publicity of scholarships. 8. Create a procedure for publicity of awards. 9. Create a procedure for the awarding of special awards, i.e., continuous years of service, association anniversary awards, etc. 10. Revise all related sections of the Policies and Procedures Manual of the DE-DC-MD ASFAA, Inc. as it pertains to the Awards and Scholarships Committee.
